The PPS produces statistics on the activity of the Service, including caseloads and prosecutorial decisions. Where appropriate, these statistics are accompanied with detailed notes which provide an explanation of the relevant PPS processes and procedures.
The latest statistics for the 2023/24 financial year (i.e. 1 April 2023 to 31 March 2024) were published on 27 June 2024. Statistics for the 2024/25 financial year (i.e. 1 April 2024 to 31 March 2025) will be published in the summer of 2025. Following review and user feedback these statistics have been moved from quarterly to annual production.
